Here you can get an exciting and challenging job as a Production Planner, in an international company. As Ferrosan Medical Devices (FeMD) is growing, you will be able to shape the job in our Supply Chain Department to a large extent. The position will be based in Søborg, with reference to our Senior Manager, Head of Purchase, Planning, and Compliance.
A trustworthy team
The team is a part of Supply Chain Department, which is a central area in Ferrosan Medical Devices. The team consists of 3 experienced Production Planners, 2 Purchasers, 2 Compliance Partners, 1 Analyst and 1 Student Assistant. The team is responsible for all aspects of the Supply Chain activities in FeMD, and in order to accommodate the rapid growing demand for FeMD’s products, the planning team is expanding with this new fourth Planner position.
The Role
You will have a central position, with responsibility for the collaboration and development of the company's Production plan. It’s an operational role with operational tasks, such as order creation, invoicing, batch review etc. There will be a great deal of contact with our Suppliers/CMO’s, who are primarily in Europe, as well as a broad contact surface internally in the FeMD organization.
Your main tasks will be:
The overall purpose of the position is to ensure a robust and foreseeing planning setup that results in a high On-Time Delivery, as well an important focus on quality and costs reduction.
To be successful in this role, you must internally work closely together with e.g. Manufacturing, Finance, the Quality organization and your colleagues in Supply Chain Management and Operations.
You are a true team player and possess technical knowledge
As you will be working with an array of different functions within FeMD, it is important that you have excellent teamworking skills. You must be able to work in a structured and analytical manner. To be successful in the job, it is important that you can collaborate with colleagues in different functions.
You will also be assigned tasks that require you to work on your own and without detailed instruction – which is why your ability to take the initiative is a key trait in your professional toolbox.

- Establishment and maintenance of production plans.
- Daily planning operation (order creation, invoicing, production review, documentation etc.).
- Daily handling and collaboration with our external- and internal stakeholders.
- Optimizing the processes and structure around our suppliers, customers, and CMO’s.
- Participating in optimization projects.

- Have a background within logistics, supply chain, scheduling, material planning or similar. We are open to both graduate-level candidates and experienced candidates.
- Think in holistic terms and with a business-oriented approach to the solutions, which means that you understand when to push on your tasks, and when to give room and re-plan, when other areas need to be prioritized.
- Have a keen eye for details and carry out your work with thoroughness and care.
- Are tech savvy (the majority of the work will be in Excel and SAP).
- Have the ability to act and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing plans, needs and priorities.
- Independently seek knowledge when needed.
- Speak and write English and Danish on a corporate level.
- Preferably have experience with GMP, but it is not a requirement.
