Your position
In your role as a Structural Engineer, you will be a valuable member of the newly established Consultant Services Department which is set to face tremendous growth in the coming years. Here, you will strengthen our engineering and design efforts for a major energy project for one of our most prominent clients.
You will have the opportunity to work with all engineering phases of the project, from conceptualization and 3D modeling to detail design and handover to Operations, offering a significant opportunity to make a tangible impact on the project's success. This role will be a unique chance for you to utilize your expertise and experience in a large-scale project environment, while also making a real change for the global energy sector.
Location: Your workplace will be at one of Semco's offices in either Denmark - Poland - UK. The position is full-time and 30-50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of the project from conception to completion.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Developing concept and layout of structures (including 3D model start-up procedures).
- Detailing steel structures.
- Creating user manuals, lifting plans, and design risk assessments.
- 3D modelling, design development & multidiscipline interaction.
- Preparing 2D structural drawings / extraction of 2D structural drawings from 3D model.
- Participating in the handover to Operation.
Your profile & qualifications

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Relevant technical education.
- Offshore experience from Oil and Gas industry or from Marine Engineering related to offshore construction.
- Ability to work independently in all phases of the project, through study to execution phases.
- Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea.
- Good knowledge of E3D and Naviswork, general computer technology and experience from structural design.
- Experience with making fabrication drawings including cutting sketches and nesting files.
- Knowledge of governing regulations and standards.
