Structural Engineer

Your new team
As our new Structural Engineer you will join our Civil Engineering Team, which is part of European Energy’s EPC department, and holds the overall responsibility for the design, planning, procurement, and management of our projects during the ready-to-build and construction phase. We work with professional suppliers, partners, and sub-contractors for the completion of our sites.
Your new role
As our new Structural Engineer, your workday will entail a broad variety of tasks related to our PV projects both from the office, but also at our construction sites.

You have a positive mindset, and you are service-minded and proactive. You work in a structured and detail-oriented manner, and you are committed to delivering high quality while you maintain the overview to meet deadlines. You are a dedicated team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Your new team

Your new role
As our new Structural Engineer, your workday will entail a broad variety of tasks related to our PV projects both from the office, but also at our construction sites.
Areas of responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams to design, analyse, and optimize solar mounting structures.
- Conduct structural calculations for solar mounting structures in compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Prepare relevant documentation packages.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications for solar mounting structures to be ordered by procurement.
- Provide preliminary estimations and review of final designs of onshore wind project foundations.
- Provide technical support during construction and installation phases.
- Participate in site visits and inspections.
- Support execution of civil work with specifications and documentation review.
- Work with structural modelling tools.
Job prerequisites
- Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- 2 years of experience in structural engineering. Focus on renewable energy projects will be considered a plus.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. RFEM, SAP2000).
- Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASTM, Eurocode).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Are proficient in English.
