We are looking for a “Time Schedule Manager” to create, manage, and optimize the project’s schedule to ensure timely completion within the set budget and standards

About the project
The Capital Region of Denmark’s Centre for Real Estate is upgrading the Bispebjerg Hospital Campus with several capital projects. The new main hospital building project, New Hospital Bispebjerg, is approx. 77,000 m2 that is expected to be finished in 2029. The project also consists of operating theaters, endoscopy theaters, day surgery, radiology department, emergency department, patient rooms, clinics.

The projects will create contemporary and functional frameworks for the best possible treatment, with focus on the patients.

Core responsibilities

Overview:

The Time Schedule Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of the time schedules in the project. This role involves creating and preparing time schedules, as well as managing the time schedules that are created by the consultants and contractors working on the project.

Schedule Development and Maintenance:

  • Develop comprehensive design, procurement, construction, commissioning, move & activation schedules in collaboration with project managers, designers, engineers, contractors, and other team members.
  • Using scheduling software create, update, and maintain schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Integrate multiple sub/trade contractors’ and suppliers’ schedules into the main project schedule to ensure alignment of activities.

Time Management:

  • Monitor project progress against the established schedule, identifying any deviations or delays.
  • Coordinate with project teams to adjust schedules in response to unforeseen changes or challenges.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on schedule status to project management and stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Facilitate scheduling meetings to discuss and align on project timelines and milestones.
  • Work closely with project managers and site personnel to understand and incorporate on-the-ground realities into the schedule.
  • Communicate scheduling changes and updates to all relevant parties to ensure alignment.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential schedule risks and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively suggest solutions to keep the project on track in the face of delays or other issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of the project schedule and any changes made.
  • Develop and present detailed schedule reports, highlighting progress, risks, and variances.

About you

Qualifications and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field., masters in project/construction management or scheduling is an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in time schedule management using critical path method, experience with location-based scheduling is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera (P6).
  • 5+ years of experience in complex building projects (terminals, pharmaceutical, laboratories, etc.), experience with hospital projects is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Utilize time schedule pro-actively to drive progress, instead of using it to report delays.
  • Anticipate risks and issues and take action to prevent them from turning into problems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to reach consensus.
  • Collaboration and communication in an international project environment.

Salary and conditions for employment
The salary and conditions for the employment will be according to current trade agreements, with the possibility for negotiating supplements for qualifications.

The workplace is located at Bispebjerg Hospital, Bispebjerg Bakke, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

Working hours are 37 hours per week.
