We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Control Engineer

The primary responsibility of the Senior Project Control Engineer is to provide the Controls Division team with the expertise to deliver the project in the most effective manner and with solid scheduling & reporting updates and KPIs status.

At the pre-construction stage the Senior Project Control Engineer shall support the key stakeholders with the development of optimized tools to report and analyse project scopes and objectives.

At the execution stage the Senior Project Control Engineer shall 1) Monitor, update, and communicate the variances of current status and the impact of project changes and variations. 2) Support, monitor, update, analyse and communicate the Risks and Opportunities of the Project

The Senior Project Control Engineer shall have an engineering and construction in heavy infrastructure background, contract and claims knowledge as well as risks and opportunities management, with the ability to work with strict deadlines and willing to learn and develop a career in the Project Control, claims, risks and opportunities field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and update as appropriate any supporting documents for potential claims (cost calculation, schedule impact analysis)
  • Support with any Change Management / Time Impact analysis.
  • Prepare, update, monitor, analyse and communicate the Risks and Opportunities of the Project through the use of Relatics software.
  • Develop tools and optimize processes for the monthly progress cost reporting together with the cost control team.
  • Support the collection of datas to establish the monthly report
  • Support, develop and Implement Lean and Last Planner System meetings and procedures.
  • Ensure that any discrepancies are analysed on a monthly basis and actions identified and communicated in a timely manner through various dashboards in Power-BI.

ELIGIBILITY/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar
  • +8 years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling and Control in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of Heavy Infrastructure projects
  • Competency with CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM
  • Expert competency in Excel and Power-Bi
  • Competency in Relatics to manage the risks and opportunities
  • Competency with Lean Construction approach and Last Planner System implementation
  • Good understanding of Construction industry heavy equipment and subcontractor’s management
  • Knowledge and practical application FIDIC or NEC form of contracts
  • Solid verbal and written presentation skills
  • Excellent in English; good command of technical terms.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

The Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven), pension, health insurance and lunch arrangement.

Place of work: Rødbyhavn 50% - København 50%
