Under the responsibility of the Works Preparation Manager:

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
Under the responsibility of the Works Preparation Manager:
- Develops methods of construction of the Production facilities and tunnel elements, in coordination with the execution team
- Develops site installation drawings and phasing with assistance of technical draftmen/women
- Defines best technical solutions for safe, fast and cost effective construction
- Ensures coordination of the methods with the Temporary Works and Permanent Works Design teams
- Follow up the progress of the methods studies developed internally or by external consultants
- Organises the third-party check when required
- Acts as a Temporary works coordinator when requested according to the WP&Execution GMP
- Implements the Safety in Design process in the development of the methods
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. Civil/ Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects, in Works Preparation phase and execution phase
- Technical skills must be at the level in which assignments can be independently executed with minimal guidance or training.
- Fluent in English and spoken as well as written
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to manage junior engineers and team of draftmen/women
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written at all organizational levels, proper reporting to the management
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
