Are you a strong Senior Contract Administrator, with a proven track record of working with multiple customers as well as handling a wide range of stakeholders?
Would you like to join us and get a significant influence on how we run Contract Management?
As our new Senior Contract Administrator you will:
Participate with the Contract Manager, in ensuring that the obligations under the Contract are fulfilled by FLC and its Subcontractors (when transferred) in a timely and efficient manner and participate in ensuring the protection of FLC interests.
Key activities:
Contract management
Day-to-day management of the Main Contract, incl.;
Procurement
Subcontractors’ & suppliers’ management
Day-to-day management of Subcontractors, incl.;
Insurance management
Active participation in administration of Contractor’s All Risk / Third Party Liability Insurance as provided by the Owner, incl.;
Contract Management Plan
Perform role in accordance with Contract Management Plan, advise necessary updates and ensure full compliance by other contract department members
Bonds, Guarantees, Sub-Contract Insurances
Actively monitor and manage bonds, guarantees and sub-contractors insurances in close collaboration with Admin & Finance Department
Required Qualifications
As a person, you are experienced and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organizational level and you have experience in working across functions. Counselling others in the processes around contract management and contractual content comes naturally to you, and you use your energy and understanding of other people to timely involve the right competencies in the right processes and carry projects through with success.
It is also important to have a high level of drive, initiative and persistence and being result-oriented. Also, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. You are analytical, structured and comfortable with communicating relevant contract provisions to relevant stakeholders.

The Danish Salaried Employees Act (Funktionærloven), pension, health insurance and lunch arrangement are available.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Workplace: Copenhagen. Regular site visits are expected.

Key activities:
Contract management
Day-to-day management of the Main Contract, incl.;
- Contract awareness – including training of internal stakeholders
- Correspondence management
- Maintaining contractual records including minutes of meetings, information sheets, status reports and other documents in view of potential claims procedures
- Submission of Contract Notices to ensure protection of FLC’s rights
- Assessing and preparing future claims’ submissions
- Active participation in change management
- Active participation in interfaces management
- Monitor & ensure obligations are met by FLC / delivered by the Owner
- Liaising with the Owner, as requested by the Project Director
- Contribute / review MPR
Procurement
- Liaise and participate with internal stakeholders / departments for the formalising of consultancy, subcontract and supply agreements
- Issues and updates the contractual templates for use in Germany in bilingual format (English / German language)
- Participates in the negotiations with the bidders during the tender process.
- Drafting subcontract agreements in various forms in English and German languages (or a combination thereof)
Subcontractors’ & suppliers’ management
Day-to-day management of Subcontractors, incl.;
- Correspondence management including bilingual English / German language format
- Change management,
- Interface management
- Claims management
Insurance management
Active participation in administration of Contractor’s All Risk / Third Party Liability Insurance as provided by the Owner, incl.;
- Avising internal stakeholders of policy inclusions / exclusions
- Notifying insurance claims to provider in a timely manner
- Coordination with internal stakeholders for the preparation and submission of claims
- Leading discussions with insurance provider to conclusion
Contract Management Plan
Perform role in accordance with Contract Management Plan, advise necessary updates and ensure full compliance by other contract department members
Bonds, Guarantees, Sub-Contract Insurances
Actively monitor and manage bonds, guarantees and sub-contractors insurances in close collaboration with Admin & Finance Department
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years’ experience of major construction or infrastructure projects in the construction industry, working for a major contractor, in an international environment under standard and well known international construction contracts
- Extensive experience of FIDIC Conditions of Contract essential
- The candidate should be conversant with construction laws in Germany and have extensive experience of the VOB Standard Buliding Contracts Terms
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other applicable field
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong planning, leading and supervision competencies
- Experience with working in a project organization and in a project environment
- An excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German languages is essential
