YOUNG TALENT - GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

We are experienced in all types of tunnels and earth retaining structures needed in sectors ranging from highways, metros, railways, to energy and power, and we cover the entire lifecycle of a project from idea, concept and design to operation and maintenance.
With recent project wins and our growing project list, we are looking for structural engineers who could be part of our major on-going projects and future projects; Femern Tunnel Project which is linking Denmark and Germany and it is the longest immersed tunnel in the world and the largest infrastructure project in Denmark’s history! Svanemøllen Stormwater Tunnel in Copenhagen. Västlänken: Underground railway tunnels and stations in the centre of Gothenburg and Fraser River immersed tunnel in Vancouver.
In addition to the ongoing project there is a large pipeline of infrastructure investments to be done in Denmark over the coming years. The government approved the infrastructure plan 2035 “Danmark Fremad” in 2021 which includes investments in a large range of tunnel projects.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
As a young geotechnical engineer, you will join our global team of specialists designing a variety of tunnel and deep excavation projects. Your role is to learn and assist on the project. You will be working directly on the project alongside the project staff. You will be connected to one of our engineers who will guide and coordinate the work.
You will be exposed to preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and reports within underground infrastructure.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary and multicultural department engineering.

To succeed in this position, we believe you possess strong analytical skills and have a solid understanding of geotechnical design (soil-structure interaction, geotechnical structures, foundation, slope stability, Plaxis 2D or similar). Along with this, you are self-motivated with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. You plan, manage and complete your projects and tasks independently.

- Bachelor's degree and currently studying a Master
- Terms of campaign
- Solid geotechnical understanding
- Fundamental knowledge on how to work with Plaxis 2D or 3D
- Willingness to learn and be challenged
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and commination skills in a Scandinavian language is an advantage
