Management of global energy projects in leading consultancy within the renewable industry
Are you passionate about renewable energy and do you have hands on experience with technical project management? Would it motivate you to be the lead of our global wind, solar and storage activities in K2 Management? Then you might be just the candidate we are looking for.

In this position, you will report to our Manager of Energy Systems, and you will preferably be based in one of our premises in Denmark (Viby J/Copenhagen), Germany (Hamburg) or UK (Bristol/Glasgow). Management of energy projects and technical support to clients
As Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for management and supervision of our clients’ projects, mainly within wind but also with emerging solar, storage and hybrid activities. In addition, your area of responsibilities will include:
Experienced project manager with technical knowledge from the renewable industry
We are looking for a candidate with relevant engineering or equivalent technical background combined with 5+ years project management experience from the renewable industry. Furthermore, we expect you to have:

Management of energy projects and technical support to clients
As Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for management and supervision of our clients’ projects, mainly within wind but also with emerging solar, storage and hybrid activities. In addition, your area of responsibilities will include:
- Manage energy projects from early development through the subsequent phases of design, fabrication, installation until commissioning
- Manage the tender negotiation and contracting process on behalf of the project owner
- Acting as first point of contact in relation to all contractors and manage relevant interfaces to other project deliverables
- Align construction, commissioning and test plan with construction management
- Manage project deliverables within the agreed time considering all relevant QHSE requirements, permit, technical and commercial aspects
- Coordinate progress and coordination meetings with clients, contractors and other relevant stakeholders
- Provide technical, implementation, commissioning and maintenance advice and support to the O&M
- Travelling must be expected, when required to drive project activities and attend client meetings.
Experienced project manager with technical knowledge from the renewable industry
We are looking for a candidate with relevant engineering or equivalent technical background combined with 5+ years project management experience from the renewable industry. Furthermore, we expect you to have:
- Profound technical knowledge within one or more of the renewable technologies, e.g. wind and/or solar
- A project manager certificate (e.g. PMI, IPMA or Prince2). Will be seen as an advantage, but is not a prerequisite for this position
- An international mindset and enthusiasm about building strong client relations
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
