This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde or Warsaw, and you will join our Domain Data Architecture team. The team oversees our processing of data as a pivotal asset in our business areas, in close collaboration with our business domains and our Enterprise Data Architecture area.

As a domain data steward, you will play a proactive key role across teams in supporting the establishment of an enterprise perspective when managing data, minimizing risks and being compliant with regulatory standards. You will provide direction in the domain on how data should be treated in alignment with the data management guidelines related to data governance and quality.

As a domain data steward, you'll be assigned to a specific business domain, such as Payments, Credit Risk or focusing on our shared platforms (Events and API management), while being part of a domain data steward team that spans across the company. At bec, we value regular in-office collaboration but also offer the flexibility to work remotely for up to 8 days per month. You´ll report to head of Domain Data Architecture, Rasmus Kjærem Nielsen.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Collect and maintain use cases for data and contribute to requirements breakdown
• Work with subject matter experts to develop the information model representing the area and align models across bec
• Contribute to architecture documents being the guiding light on our data vision
• Support teams developing API’s, Kafka events or other data models in accordance with the information model
• Collaboration with the rest of Enterprise Data Management area to continuously improve data governance and the way we work
• Communicate with key stakeholders on all levels to improve how we work with data on all levels of our organization
• Ensuring the integrity by e.g., identifying data quality issues, maintaining critical data, data validations etc.

To succeed you will have:

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Relevant education on bachelor level
• Love working with data with experience earned either through a relevant education or by practical experience
• Have a passion for programming and technology, both cutting-edge and traditional, as we are a company deeply rooted in IT
• Good communication and sense making skills to break down complex topics for various audiences
• A mindset geared towards teamwork, forward-thinking, and a holistic approach

It’s nice-to-have:

• Worked within the financial sector and/or as a data steward – but if you have a “go do”-attitude and passion for data, we would like to hear from you!

• Credit Risk: Customer rating, Impairment, Credit risk or Collateral
• Payments: Payment clearing and foreign payments and ISO 20022
