UNEEG Medical A/S is looking for a Lead Data Architect and a new team member who manages to combine data with business development, and set the direction for data workflows in an innovative company bringing novel brainwave monitoring products to market.

With direct report to the Director of Epilepsy Science, you will be the data expert and be part of UNEEG’s Epilepsy Science, where you will have a central role in the description of UNEEG’s data architecture and workflows, as well as the logistics of handling incoming data in terms of EEG. Moreover, you will cooperate closely together with the Management Team in building the digital foundation and technical strategy preparing the company for future growth in accordance with GxP compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Optimize and maintain UNEEG’s data architecture and infrastructure to support business strategy activities
• Manage a Data Manager team member
• Be the first point of contact for scientific and business stakeholders when it comes to their development, data mining, and insight needs
• Engage, understand, and challenge scientific and business stakeholders to drive better insights
• Coach scientific and business users in using the output delivered
• Internal as well as external support for data handling
• Execute UNEEG’s Data Management Plan, which includes transforming and exposing data to customers and other departments and supporting the Management with expertise within the field, aligning business and data
• Continuously keep the Data Management Plan up to date and ensure unidirectional development that is not replicated in the different departments
• Develop tools and dashboards for visualization of events, metadata, etc
• Translate scientific and business requirements into insights and dashboards

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from a similar position in international pharmaceutical and/or MedTech company working with patient data within the regulatory area and MDR. Moreover, you have experience with translating and communicating complex data to diverse stakeholder groups, both internally in the organization and externally.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other Data or Computer Science degree. Experience with Azure and SQL is required. Experience with Python is ideal. You are fluent in English and master written English at a professional level.

You are a person with strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills. Moreover, you have the ability to communicate complex data information to different stakeholder groups and thereby build the bridge between business and data. Finally, you have a commercial mindset and thrive working both strategically and operationally with a great amount of independence.
