Flügger group A/S is looking for a full-time Business Intelligence Specialist with a passion for EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse). Department

As a member of the BI and IT Integration team at Flügger headquarters in Rødovre, you are an essential part of Group IT in Flügger Group A/S. Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless integration between Business Intelligence (BI) systems and the overall IT infrastructure. This integration is crucial to handle the complex IT landscape within the company, which involves dealing with substantial data volumes and performance requirements.

In your role, you will be reporting to the BI Manager, who oversees the team's operations and projects. The team consists of four people, including yourself, and together, you all work towards making a positive impact within the company's IT infrastructure and BI systems.

Role and responsibilities

Our BI team has diverse responsibilities, supporting our organisation on a strategic, tactical, and operational level. The entire BI value chain is our responsibility. We control our framework and architecture, uphold our governance, lead project meetings, facilitate stakeholder management, and we act as valued business partners.

Your profile and qualifications

Primary Focus:
• EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) Development: To succeed in this role you must have experience in building and maintaining an enterprise-level data warehouse.

Skills and Experience Required:
• Microsoft SQL: Proficiency in working with Microsoft SQL Server for querying, data manipulation, and database management is essential for this role.
• Microsoft Integration Services (SSIS): Experience in using SSIS for data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data movement is required.
• Technical Proficiency: You should possess strong technical skills and be adept at handling data-related challenges with a logical and analytical mindset.
• Stakeholder Communication: The ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders across the organization is crucial. Fluency in both Danish and English languages is necessary for effective communication.
• Structured Approach: You should have a structured approach to tasks and be able to work with tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

Desirable Skills (not mandatory but beneficial):
• Experience with Python would be advantageous, as it can enhance the ability to handle data analysis, automation, and scripting tasks.

In summary, you should have a strong background in EDW development, be proficient in Microsoft SQL and SSIS, possess technical aptitude and analytical thinking, be an effective communicator, and preferably have some experience with Python. Additionally, being service-oriented and business-focused will help you succeed in this role with Flügger's diverse range of stakeholders.
