Our team of multidisciplinary process engineers are working on both upstream and downstream processes within pharma and biotechnology. As a Senior Data Engineer for Advanced Process Control, you’ll be working with Manufacturing Intelligence, as a full-service provider of IT solutions, within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries.

How you might spend your days
As a Senior Data Engineer for Advanced Process Control, you’ll be working with Manufacturing Intelligence, as a full-service provider of IT solutions, within manufacturing for the pharma and biotech industries.
You will be working with:
- Design, Functional specifications, assist in implementation, and validate the next generation of APC/PAT solutions from instrumentation to automation in GMP applications.
- Be part of setting the standard for APC/PAT implementation in large scale Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) projects
- Participate in cross disciplinary coordination with process and automation project engineers in close collaboration with our customers
Who you are

- Strong interest in IT and automation and combining it with your process knowledge
- We imagine that you have several years of experience from Pharma or similar industry as either:
- System Manager of IT Systems
- IT/Automation engineer/supporter
- Process engineer/supporter
- Researcher/Lab analytical engineer/supporter
- You are curious for a more technical consultancy role where you can apply your industry knowledge in ensuring the quality of our APC/PAT solutions
- Documenting your work comes naturally and if you have GMP experience it’s a big plus
- Agile and able to prioritize urgent tasks and collaborate on team projects
The miles you have walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- A strong interest and knowledge within APC/PAT solutions in general – e.g. SynTQ or SiPAT software
- Experience in Lifesciences and/or Biotech Industry particularly in Commissioning, Qualification and Validation of automation, software or IT
- Experience with manufacturing data
- A strong interest and knowledge with automation (PCS/DCS systems or PLC’s) or IT Systems supporting pharma manufacturing (MES, IT infrastructure, APC/PAT Instruments)
- You have a degree in engineering or other relevant work experience
- You speak and write English fluently
