Currently, a brand new facility is under construction in Northern Aarhus and in connection with this, the establishment of a new data center. This is an extraordinary opportunity to apply all your experience, knowledge and skills as a systems - and infrastructure engineer.
In this position, you will be in charge of establishing Trifork’s new data center and be responsible for the installation of network equipment, access control and servers in close collaboration with your colleagues. The vision is to construct and design the new facility with Smart Building features, which you will also take part in.
You will join Trifork IT and a team of skilled system administrators who maintain and operate Trifork’s internal network and support clients when needed.
The job includes:
· Installation and monitoring of network equipment and servers
· Data center setup, including network switches, routers, monitors, security, etc.
· Troubleshooting on network issues
· Systems’ maintenance and updates on Windows and Linux
· VMware infrastructure with vSphere
· Active Directory maintenance and user/group creation
· Development in Powershell, Bash, Python, MS Exchange
Professionally, we imagine that you have experience from a role as a system, data center or infrastructure administrator or the like. Skills and experience with VMware, network operations, server infrastructure, support and maintenance and development skills in e.g. Powershell are required in order for you to become successful in this job.
It is considered a huge plus, if you have experience working with strong/weak currents, and if you are familiar with Smart Building infrastructure and protocols.
As a person, you like to troubleshoot and come up with solutions for novel problems. You are probably the type of person that enjoys looking at the bigger picture as well as diving into smaller details, and you are not afraid to get your hands dirty. In this role, you will collaborate with many stakeholders, co-workers and external parties, which requires great communication skills.
