You will optimise our trading and build quantitative models that support real-time decision-making within our trading teams.Your responsibilities include:
  • supporting our trading business by building and improving quantitative models
  • coding algorithmic trading infrastructure and optimisation engines used for live trading
  • conducting market research and strategy analysis to improve profitability and operational robustness
  • collaborating with team members to maintain the operational stability of algorithms and tools

We are a curious, dedicated and highly analytical team who continuously improve our processes, systems and strategies to keep our power trading business at the forefront.Since the models and analyses you create will guide decision-making, we are looking for someone who takes a holistic, data-driven approach and understands market risks. As we operate in an ever-changing market, we also see you as someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can adapt quickly.We also imagine that you:
  • have a quantitative educational background, for example in mathematics, physics, statistics, data science or engineering
  • have experience from a similar position, either in the energy industry or financial markets
  • have solid coding skills and are proficient in Python
  • can explain complex analyses to stakeholders without a technical background
  • are proficient in English - both written and verbal
