Your position
As our new Student Assistant, you will join the Global Sourcing Excellence team in our Procurement department which consists of more than 35 valued team members based in Denmark, Norway, and Singapore. Here we support individual business units, and we all work in the same ERP System called IFS.
Across the Procurement department we all follow the same overall Procurement Processes and Procedures, and recently we have concluded that we need a hand in managing our master data and improving the accessibility of it. This is where you come in! This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who finds it exciting to work with data, optimisation, and systems.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be managing and optimising our master data management in our procurement department.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you enjoy working with large amounts of data and getting into all the details and analysing possible improvements is something that comes naturally to you.
Furthermore, you always strive to organise and create structure in the work you are carrying out.
Working solo with the input you have collected from your colleagues is your preferred way of working, but generally you also function well in a team setting where you have the responsibility for you own work.

Workload: 15-20 hours weekly, working more during holidays is possible

- Collecting improvement suggestions from the Global Procurement team
- Organising and implementing the suggested changes when possible
- Ensuring that the master data is organised, consistent, and accessible across multiple systems and applications
- Maintaining and “cleaning up” the master data in the ERP system IFS
Your profile & qualifications
As a person you enjoy working with large amounts of data and getting into all the details and analysing possible improvements is something that comes naturally to you.
Furthermore, you always strive to organise and create structure in the work you are carrying out.
Working solo with the input you have collected from your colleagues is your preferred way of working, but generally you also function well in a team setting where you have the responsibility for you own work.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:
- Currently undergoing a higher education
- Flair for IT and an interest in data and systems
- Great with the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI is beneficial but is by no means a requirement
