Have you over the years taken a keen interest in Master Data, and are you ready to take this interest to a higher level? Would you like to play a pivoting role in making centrally defined MDM processes and master data aligned across companies in a large international organisation? Then this role could be your next career move.
You will join DLG Group’s IT Solutions team which consists of approx. 30 internal solution consultants and developers. We cooperate cross-border and are located in both Denmark and Germany. Our team will play a key role in a new SAP S/4 Programme, being responsible for designing, building and implementing the future solutions – including an essential master data harmonisation.
SAP has been the core business solution in both DLG and our German company HaGe for several years, and we are about to merge these into a new group common S/4 HANA platform including most SAP modules like MM, SD, QM, WM, PP-PI, FI/CO, eWM, PO, BW, BO and 3rd party transportation solution as CarLo.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new master data consultant, you will ensure that Master Data records are complete, accurate, consistent and easy to use, and all supporting data structures are properly configured and up to date. You will analyze master data and align data across companies and borders. You will work closely together with our central master data team. This team represent the business part of all our master data – and you will represent Solutions and ensure that central Data Management direction and maintenance processes are executed within DLG. You will be a part of projects ensuring that DLG’s master data are aligned, consistent and maintained. You will drive the Data Governance processes in DLG and support projects with the data migration and implementation support of the needed Master Data governance processes. You will follow established routine verification procedures and provide feedback to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes in the organisation.

What we expect from you
You have likely minimum five years of relevant experience with master data and you know the data structure within SAP. You have experience in working with MDM governance, MDM processes, data quality measurements and MDM systems and tools. You may come from a similar role or work as a project manager or as Master Data Superuser. You are used to working on a global scale across multiple business areas and companies. You thrive in taking lead in your projects securing data quality, and you have a natural curiosity in learning and using available MDM tools.
On a more personal level, you are analytical and self-motivating by nature with the ability to take lead in your tasks. You are able to set the right priorities to achieve results, and you have excellent communication skills, a high proficiency in Excel and relevant MDM tools. We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.
You will be based in our headquarter in Fredericia, but as parts of your team are based in our offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Kiel, you should expect 20 days per year working from here.

- Harmonize data structures across systems and countries
- Contribute to the analysis of master data requirements, data integration, and performing data mapping activities
- Report on operational master data quality
- Implement Data Governance organization and processes
- Support projects with Data Migration approach and Master Data Maintenance implementation
- Utilize tool for efficient MDM processes like WinShuttle for mass updates in SAP
- Support organizational change management related to Master Data changes
