As Database Administrator at ipnordic, your purpose is to ensure a consistently secure and efficient database infrastructure for our company and teams. Care, ownership and a high focus on security, performance and automation are therefore essential skills in this role.
Furthermore, you should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly, work independently and have a natural interest and curiosity in learning new technologies.

Your responsibilities as Database Administrator:
- Resource planning and management
- Setup and installation of database servers
- Backup/Recovery/Disaster planning, testing and management
- Access rights management
- Performance analyses to pinpoint bottlenecks
- Database, table and index management in collaboration with developers
- Assist developers to maximize their usage of SQL options
- Scripting, analysis and maintenance of SQL queries
- Data exchange and distribution both internal and external
- Data management to uphold GDPR policy
- Daily monitoring of server performance and system alerts
- Incidence response
- Documenting current system state and future developments
Required skills:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL
- Experience with SQL language scripting
- Experience with Microsoft .NET
- Experience with Office365 suite
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operation systems
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
