We are currently recruiting IT professionals who thrive on becoming important players in our digital transformation journey. We are looking for a Data Management and Business Analytics Lead who will take the strategic leadership of these practice areas, while at the same time bringing us great business value being an ambassador for our digital transformation.
Successful candidate would join the Group function FinDOS (Finance & Development Operations) which leads NCC’s finances as well as strategy development and major change programs in the business. Within the Development & Operations part of the unit (DOS), we are 140+ employees. DOS is NCC’s development and delivery function for IT as well as operations development and research & innovation. We are a Nordic organization working together closely under one common management, guided by our values and Star Behaviors. Cooperation in- and between units is key for us to deliver value to NCC´s business areas, and therefore we are currently transforming FinDOS to an Agile mindset and way of working in Agile teams.
As our Data Management and Business Analytics Lead, you will have the overall responsibility to ensure that the functions are developed, implemented, and executed in a way that drives as much business value as possible. In this position, you will take strategic leadership of developing these two functions. You will have a great impact on a growing area and your previous experience from IT leadership, digital transformation and the area of data management and business analytics will be very useful. You will act as an ambassador for NCC’s digital transformation and drive questions related to your specific area at all levels in the organization. You´re responsibilities within this role can be summed up into six areas, described below:

This position can be based in any of the major cities in the Nordics where we at NCC have an office. The position may require some travelling within the Nordic countries.

Group Function FinDOS

The Role

You will act as an ambassador for NCC’s digital transformation and drive questions related to your specific area at all levels in the organization. You´re responsibilities within this role can be summed up into six areas, described below:
- Direction and ambition - set the overall roadmap and ambition for Data Management and Business Analytics based on NCC’s business strategy
- Set the governance structure including roles, processes and drive strategic and tactical governance forums
- Change Management-champion, elevate and promote the importance of this area at all levels in the organization
- Compliance- drive cross system/cross organizational implementation and compliance to the framework in the area
- Drive Development - drive the roadmap execution
- Collaboration and organization - challenge and provide support to key roles in the area to help them support successfully in their role
Your profile
You will be very important for us in our strategic journey, and therefore we need you to have:
- Solid experience from a leadership position within IT
- Several years of experience from building up or running data management and/or Business Analytics functions.
- Experience from digital transformation journeys in a large cooperation
- Successful experience from change management
- Fluency in written and spoken English plus one Nordic language
To be successful in this position you are probably a:
- Strong change leader who can be a true ambassador for NCC digital transformation
- Long-term personality with great persistence
- Mature IT leader, confident in your role at all levels in the company
- Strategic doer with a successful approach to setting up plans and driving them from start to finnish to get result in a large agile environment
- Team player who understands the need of co-operation in and between teams
Additional information
