Do you have a passion for automated image analysis using AI and machine learning. AI has emerged as an important tool for studying complex disease endpoints. At Gubra we rely on advanced image analysis to extract quantitative information from large microscopy datasets. This is a fast-growing field, and we have a vacant position to advance and support our pipeline. You will be part of AI Technology that consists of highly passionate data scientists. The department develops smart and tailor-made solutions to understand and visualize biological problems in close collaboration with scientists spanning multiple disciplines, often with short yet realistic deadlines. Furthermore, our experts engage in scientific discussions, various data management and software development tasks.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of our automated image analysis (2D and 3D) pipelines spanning raw data acquisition all the way to the final data packages for internal/external customers
- Establish QC and validation steps in our workflows to ensure high-quality data packages
- Support our CRO business with data analysis and scientific counselling and collaborate across multiple disciplines
- Facilitate communication between the AI Technology department and our sales department
- Take part in the daily scientific research, discussions, and presentations internally and externally
As a candidate for the job, you possess several of the qualifications below
- A relevant master or Ph.D. degree
- Experience in processing and analysis of biomedical image data, using both classical and deep learning approaches
- Writing well-structured and readable code
- Can comfortably work in a Linux server environment
- Familiarity with statistics and common data science approaches
- Proficiency in version control in git, Github, Azure or similar tools
- Biological knowledge of e.g. brain, cardiac, liver, or kidney pathologies
