Would you like to be front and center in our green transformation of the industry, taking on a brand new role in a new department where you will immerse yourself in data to guide colleagues and customers alike?

When it comes to sustainability, we are not only ambitious for ourselves but also for our customers. Working with science-based targets, we have created the department Sustainability (DK) where a growing group of colleagues will help lower our Danish CO2 footprint by 40% by 2030 – and for our business partners, by 30%. Our baseline is 2019, and with the company growing, our goal is highly ambitious.
“Our aim is to enable our Danish DSV colleagues to deliver solutions to customers in a safe, simple and effective way. We’ll set the strategic direction for sustainability in Denmark as a centre of excellence full of knowledge and data. And we’ll drive the green transformation through project management, innovation, employee engagement and change management to find the best solutions,” says Kenneth.
Analyse and deliver key data findings to colleagues and customers
Your role will be based in the new Danish sustainability organisation. You will be located either in Horsens or Hedehusene depending on where you live. Here, you will be developing data, targets, KPIs and projects in areas such as carbon emissions, energy and waste. Specifically, you will help us get a deeper understanding of our carbon emissions and the underlying processes and how we can best drive an effective climate action agenda in the Danish part of DSV Panalpina, in order to reach the goal of a 40% reduction by 2030.
Moreover, you will provide our customers with important data findings on key carbon emission hotspots, allowing them to focus their own sustainability efforts with the help of our new, green solutions. All of this entails:

- Based on data from our Group Corporate Responsibility function you will follow up on targets, KPIs and identify high impact projects in the Danish organisation
- Supporting actions towards achieving our goal to reduce scope 1 and 2 30% by 2030, such as renewable energy purchasing and local energy efficiency projects
- Supporting the customer dialogue around CO2 reduction target
- Present CO2 data to our customers
You love analysing data – and communicating your findings
You are not afraid to admit that you are a bit of a data nerd. You simply thrive creating the framework and structure to analyse data as well as presenting your findings to both colleagues and customers across different professions and departments. We also imagine that you:
- Have a master’s degree in perhaps engineering with a sustainability focus or business, finance or social sciences with a minor in sustainability data – we are open to various backgrounds
- Have solid experience working with carbon data combined with a deep understanding of corporate climate change data and reporting and science-based targets, either within the industry or from an advisory role
- Have a proven track record of developing CO2 data structures, initiating projects and initiatives based on that data and communicating findings etc. to internal and external stakeholders
- Are a superuser of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Are fluent in both Danish and English
