We are hiring for a position in the Network Planning team, that builds tools for designing our global network of vessels and optimizing our flow of containers on the vessels. The team consists of a mix of software developers and data scientists. We are placed together with our end users to ensure close collaboration with the business. The team is responsible for developing our Flow Planner application and deliver core analyses of our vessel network.

In this exciting role you will serve as a Full Stack / .Net Developer. You will be responsible for development while understanding the current and envisioning the future landscape.
Further, in this role:
• You will follow the Agile approach with value-first and fail-fast principles
• You will be able to develop in Agile Scrum methodology
• You will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• You will Identify bottlenecks and bugs in Production, and devise solutions to these problems
• Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization you will accelerate development by driving improvement initiatives
• You will drive the modernization of the deployment setup, code base and architecture, with the aim of migrating to a cloud-based solution
• You will drive software architecture and design patterns (microservices, hexagonal architecture), dissecting business requirements into small implementable tasks
• You will build reusable software that integrates into the wider business infrastructure
• Engage, coordinate and collaborate activities within and across teams globally
• Use a deep understanding of Continuous Integration
• Show proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
• Use your skills to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to delivery
• Work on a global level serving multiple regions and languages
• Handle company information with confidentiality and discretion

• Experience with Angular v.2+ framework
• Capable with Angular Material framework
• REST
• Unit testing
• Experience with Microsoft .NET stack
• C++, C#, .NET
• Azure development
• Microservice & Service Fabric
• Azure Service Bus
• TDD, BDD & DDD
• SQL Server
• nServiceBus
• Good understanding of containerization principles, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
• Entity Framework
• TFS & Git
• Commercial Web Application Development
• Experience within a customer focused environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively articulate visual solutions
• Full software development life cycle experience
• Innovative and solution driven mind-set
• Experience of project based environments with understanding of the Agile process
• Experience with OOD principles and languages
• Understanding quality assurance principles of software development
• Knowledge of software quality metrics and measures
• Understanding software testing approaches
