Lead of commercial & marketing analytics program for L’Oreal Consumer Products Division, Nordics
We are looking for a strong data specialist who will be able to combine rigorous and structured data- handling and modelling with “go-to-market” insights and enabling the commercial and marketing teams to make faster and more effective data-driven decision-making.
The Commercial Data Analyst will report to the Revenue Growth Manager working within the umbrella of Nordic Business Development. The role will interface with a vast number of stakeholders across category development, marketing and sales in four countries. Ultimately, being the key business partner for providing analytics and insights.
Accountability including, but not limited to:
- Enabler of both commercial and marketing functions across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland to generate actionable insights
- Provider of dashboards; both sell-in and sell-out, pricing and other business parameters
- Owner of data consolidation into one single platform (Power BI)
- Data collection, cleaning, handling, structuring, modelling and data-base building
- Support with commercial analytics for big client meetings
- Setup common ways of reviewing and analyzing the business (e.g. promotions, etc.)
- Post Event Analysis (PEA) of pricing and/or promotion changes
Required Skills / Experience
- At least 3 years as Data Scientist / Business Analyst – Ideally in FMCG or Retail
- Advanced Excel Skills required;
- Data modelling & visualization, VBA coding, and SQL knowhow will be advantageous
- Ability to work in Power BI will be advantageous
- Strong inter-personal communication skills
- Knowhow in setting up simple processes for monthly cycles and streamlining ways of working with data
