Data Analyst
At GateHouse we are looking for a dedicated data analyst who is motivated by converting data
insights to business opportunities.
About the job
In this job you will have a great opportunity to act in the intersection of strategy, business
development, and finance analysis – all with the same objective: To increase the value of
GateHouse.
Your ability to perform sharp and precise analytics will be the basis for development of new
business plans, growth strategies, and decision proposals for group management and board of
directors.
Your main responsibility will be to perform various analyses, market benchmarking, and build
structured presentations.
You will be working closely with Finance, Business Development, and Business Unit Directors –
and you will occasionally participate in company presentations with external stakeholders.
Our organizational structure is unbureaucratic and informal with a strong tradition for helping
each other to reach our common goals.
About you
You have an educational background as MSc in Economics and Business Administration
(Cand.merc.) or similar. Preferably, you have experience from other analytic roles.
You can combine your data knowledge and business acumen to create good and solid business
analyses. Furthermore, you are a skilled communicator who can convert complex data
analyses to meaningful presentations.
We expect you to be analytically strong and a hardcore number-cruncher – and to have strong
competencies in Power BI, Excel, and other advanced database tools.
The preferred candidate is self-driven, well-structured, and robust. You have a natural drive to
get things done and have a deep desire to succeed. You must be fluent or native in English.
You will be based at our HQ in Nørresundby.
