Data Analyst
As HR data analyst, you will join the Leadership & Organizational development team within Group HR, working from Denmark and in your role be interacting with colleagues from many parts of Demant worldwide.

You will be an active member of a team working with employee and leadership development, learning design, diversity, equity and inclusion and our global engagement survey. The team possesses a mix of competences, and with your data analysis skills you will play a key role in our team’s effort to add value to the business.
The focus for your role
As the Demant business is growing we are extending and aligning the approach to several core leadership processes and are dependent on high quality HR data. Data that will enable both our business leaders and HR to validate assumptions and to make informed decisions. A cornerstone in your role will be to help us succeed with this journey and at the center is our HR master data. You will lead the work on providing the high-quality data needed to perform a successful, global engagement survey. Furthermore, you will be a key player in engaging with HR colleagues around the world with the aim of establishing global HR data consistency and analysis practices across Demant.
Your responsibilities
You manage and administer the organization data capture that enables the launch of our yearly engagement survey:
• Coordinate and consolidate data from all business units into one cohesive structure
• Control data quality on an ongoing basis and act as point-of-contact for all data inquiries
• Train colleagues from new business units in the survey essentials and inform them of their organization mapping task
• Optimize data capture processes
• Respond to data analysis requests from the business
• Compare and analyze data
• Prepare reports of survey results and present findings to senior leadership
The second part of your role is focused on taking the lead on a data quality project covering 3 business areas Hearing Aids, Diagnostics, Corporate functions and Group Services.
• Establish the project plan and key milestones in collaboration with key HR and IT stakeholders
• Define success criteria and KPI’s
• Coordinate and collaborate with local HR/data/admin
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders
• Identify relevant process changes/updates ensuring a sustainable approach to people data quality
• Translate people analytics into relevant and actionable insights
• Consistently communicate data in an understandable way and link insights to HR and business context
• Educate stakeholders on the value of accurate core people data, people analytics and the impact on business
Consistently integrate data across people practices (e.g. performance development, recruitment and compensation) to validate assumptions and provide strategic insights for the business
Your qualifications
• A relevant degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.), including relevant courses in e.g. data science
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics (preferably HR analytics) and related IT tools
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English verbally and in writing
• A great team player skilled at working across cultures in a collaborative environment with many stakeholders
• Good at communicating data and supporting others with the skills and motivation to help secure consistent approach to HR data
It will be an advantage if you have experience from large global companies and if you have insight into the world of HR operations/admin/support.
