We are looking for a Data Manager for the Trial Data Management department, a team of 50 data managers. Trial Data Management is anchored in Global Development, our clinical development organisation. In Global Development we are responsible for managing our clinical drug development worldwide; from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities, while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform Global Standards, Regulations and Business Ethics.

About the department

Trial Data Management is responsible for data collection and data management activities across the full trial portfolio. Our department works closely together with internal as well as external partners. We are seeking a new colleague to take up the position as Data Manager working out of our office in Søborg, Denmark, and in close collaboration with international colleagues.

The position

As Data Manager you will be primary responsible for the overseeing end-to-end Data Management activities at a trial level. You will also have a core role in designing clinical trial data collection from a variety of sources and systems, working and making decisions with clinical data. Working closely with other Data Management colleagues from around the globe as well as being an integral part of the study group is an important part of the role. You will act as the bridge between our clinical stakeholders and data management colleagues involved in your clinical trials. It will be expected that you are able to handle all data management related documentation, as well as having a strong understanding of how the data is used by our statistical programmers and statisticians.

Development of methods and processes as well as knowledge sharing is a continuous and on-going activity in Novo Nordisk, especially based on the initiative of us as employees. Qualifications

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within IT, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences or another relevant degree. Further, you have extensive knowledge and experience from the pharma industry and GCP knowledge. It is a prerequisite that you have worked several years close to or within Clinical Data Management. The job requires a strong knowledge of clinical data management processes and systems. Furthermore, strong project planning and project management skills are necessary for the position. Experience with EDC-InForm, Oracle DMW (Data Management Workbench) and relational databases are considered advantageous.

You have excellent overview, presentation and coordination skills. You can work independently, take on responsibility and show initiative, especially when dealing with unexpected tasks and handling undefined tasks and responsibilities.

Good English skills, strong cooperation and analytical skills are a necessity.
