About the department
Trial Data Management is responsible for ensuring the many systems we use for collecting data for our trials are correctly linked so that there is a proper and timely flow of data to our Clinical Data Warehouse. Our department is working closely with internal as well as external partners. We are seeking a new colleague to take up the position as Senior Data Manager performing the role of Clinical Trial Data Manager. The working place will be our office building in Søborg.
Trial Data Management is a part of Global Development. In Global Development we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.
The position
As a Senior Data Manager, you are responsible for ensuring data management deliverables are met on time and at a high quality. You will coordinate data management activities through trial planning, trial set-up, execution and closure as well as supervise and evaluate the Data Management processes throughout the life cycle of the project.
Working closely with other Data Management colleagues from around the globe as well as being an integral part of the trial team is an important part of the role. You will act as the bridge between our clinical stakeholders and data management colleagues involved in your clinical trials.
Development of methods and processes as well as knowledge sharing is a continuous and on-going activity in Novo Nordisk, especially based on the initiative of us as employees. Qualifications
You have a B.Sc. or M.SC within IT, Natural Sciences or other relevant degree and extensive knowledge and experience from the pharma industry including GCP knowledge. Preferably, you have experience working with relational databases and commercial software applications such as Oracle Clinical. Furthermore, strong project planning and project management skills are necessary. You have excellent overview, presentation and coordination skills and you communicate difficult technical items in an understandable language. You can work independently, take on responsibility and show initiative. We expect you to be able to overview several tasks in parallel without compromising the quality of your work and that you remain high spirited also when things are moving fast. Additionally, you are fluent in English, both written as well as spoken and have the desire to work in a challenging international environment, and willing to travel depending on business needs.
