Your responsibilities as Backup/Storage Consultant
You will be part of the IT Platform & Technology Services Team in Søborg. The team is global hence you will have a daily interaction with colleagues located in Denmark, Czech Republic, China and the Philippines. We are a full-stack build team who is responsible for all project related assignments, services and change requests, building agreed design solutions and handing over to our Global Operations team.

You will work with highly skilled colleagues in Søborg as well as globally. Besides of Backup and Storage, you will also have colleagues around the world whom are specialized within Unix/Linux/AIX/Solaris, Windows, Vmware, Oracle, SQL and Network. This gives a huge opportunity to work with professionals where you can broaden your technical knowledge, exchange ideas, collaborate and develop your technical skills.

Your qualifications
You have minimum 5 years of experience with administering Enterprise Backup environments and have in-depth knowledge of CommVault, TSM, NetBackup, Backup Exec and EMC Networker (at least one product). In Storage you are an expert in either: Dell EMC PowerMax/VMAX/Unity/Isilon and HPE 3Par.
You have a broad profile where you both enjoy architecture design, implementation and advising our customers for the right backup/storage setup.
Furthermore it is an advantage if you have:
You have an understanding of the ITIL framework and are used to working with Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
You communicate well in English; both oral and written (English is our corporate language)

- Providing consulting services and technical advisory for Backup/Storage solutions.
- Collaboration with Backup/Storage Service architect regarding Backup and Storage service design.
- Participating into customer on-boarding, transition and transformations.
- Building backup/storage infrastructure, managing, troubleshooting and resolving complex backup and Storage environments on various OS Platforms and Databases.
- Participating into both customer and internal projects.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as Operation Manuals, technical procedures, guidelines and project documentation. Handing over the documentation to our Global Operations team and briefing them.
