Application requirements for a maternity leave replacement position as Embassy staff of the protocol section (Temporary Position with a period from August 2021 to April 2022)

One of the Embassy staff will take maternity leave and we are looking for a person for her replacement.

  1. Job category: Full-time position as the protocol section including secretary work for high ranking officials of the Embassy.

  1. Application requirements

  • Good command of both English and Danish(speaking and writing)
  • Basic computer skills (especially Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Residential address within the City of Copenhagen or surroundings.
  • University degree
  • Good knowledge of the Danish society

  1. Job description

  • To assist the Embassy executives in such ways, among others, arranging their schedules, making their appointments and receiving their guests.
  • To communicate and coordinate with, among others, the Danish government agencies, the diplomatic corps and other V.I.Ps to handle documents such as letters.
  • Arranging receptions and events
  • Updating the data base and invitation list including sending greeting card.

  1. Conditions

  • Salary: Based on Embassy regulations (estimated around 24,000 DKK per month)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-16:30, including one-hour lunch break. Overtime and work during weekends may also be requested.
  • Period of employment: 1 August 2021 to 20 April 2022. However, working contract may terminate when the maternity leave employee resume her position even if it is before 20 April 2022.
