The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems, and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs.

The Senior Director of Enterprise Visibility has the overall responsibility for bringing our customer-facing Business Platform products to life; from setting the strategy, hiring and developing the best Product Managers in the industry and overseeing the development of multiple innovative software products to create an industry-leading customer experience that will delight our customers around the world.

Responsibilities

• Build an enterprise-wide supply chain platform working backward from customer requirements of end-to-end supply chain visibility, orchestration, and optimization.
• Define the platform’s long-term strategy and translate it into a data-driven operational plan.
• Develop customer-facing digital products and drive innovation in the factory to sofa vision through an inter-connected and intelligent supply chain.
• Define the platform’s customer-centric KPIs and build a closed-loop mechanism to monitor and report on these.
• Build partnerships with technology leaders, business leaders, external partners, and customers to build industry-leading solutions that enhance customer experience and launch market-leading products and solutions to create sustainable competitive advantage.
• Hiring and mentoring top Product Management talent and managing a large-scale Product Organisation.
• Be the customer’s ambassador in various Maersk Senior Executive forums.
• Lead innovation and thought leadership in our journey to change and digitize the Logistics and Services industry.

What you bring

• Strong experience in supply chain and logistics in operations, strategy, planning, and analytics.
• Solid experience in product management, preferably in supply chain and logistics.
• Solid, relevant experience in working with technology solutions and engineering.
• Strong experience in analytics with proven results of data-driven problem solving, understanding of data architecture, machine learning, and advanced capabilities.
• Experience identifying, hiring, and developing world-class talent and developing leaders of leaders.
• Expertise in articulating and executing a customer-centric digital strategy across multiple industries and channels (B2B, B2C, etc.).
• Experience managing and influencing a diverse, global team of product managers, UX, and design, content, and software engineering in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Strong executive communication skills, both oral and in writing.
• Be strategic and tactical with the ability to roll up your sleeves.
• Comfortable traveling 20-30% per annum.
