Quantitative Solutions drives this effort, developing a cutting-edge, scalable and highly optimized quant platform called NFL Dragonfly.

The role
As a Quantitative Developer you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and optimizing all our NFL Dragonfly applications for trading and sales teams. These applications are the front-end interfaces of our inhouse-built C++ quant library and developed using React and Python.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy high-performance applications primarily for use by traders and sales teams.
• Maintain and enhance the NFL Dragonfly platform to ensure its reliability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with fellow quantitative analysts, traders, and IT engineers to create scalable and robust applications.
• Optimize existing code to enhance performance, reduce latency, and increase accuracy.
• Research and experiment with emerging technologies and techniques and build compelling business cases for their integration into [xxxxx]’s technology stack.

Required qualifications

• Relevant university degree with a strong academic record.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python.
• Proven experience and passion for UX/UI design, with hands-on experience working with the React and Django frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and distributed systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt swiftly to new challenges, willing to go the extra mile and work under pressure.

Preferred but not required qualifications

• Interest in financial markets and quantitative analysis.
• Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence or big data technologies.
• Experience in C++ programming.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure.
