You will join as Senior Director, Head of Treasury, leading 13 experienced finance professionals in the Treasury function. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Finance, and be part of the Global Finance Leadership Team, and act as trusted advisor to our Chief Financial Officer and the Global Leadership team in relevant matters.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring
As part of the Global Finance Leadership Team, you will act as a role model in building our capabilities even further, while at the same time ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the activities related to the operating model - and challenging the status quo.
As Senior Director, Head of Treasury you will oversee all activities related to Treasury. You will be responsible for continuously developing and professionalizing the treasury function, and partner with various business teams to optimize working capital on group level as well as improving decision-making, and ultimately driving transparency across the businesses.
You will have leadership role leading the Treasury department, overseeing all activities and ensuring proper execution of the function, and being accountable for the following areas:
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs and invest short term excess cash. Manage inter-company cash, including inter-company lending, dividends, and capital injections.
Design and implementation of hedging strategy to mitigate financial risks, primarily foreign currency cash flow exposure through the recommendation of executing derivative financial instruments, managing interest rate risk and liquidity management.
Developing strategic agreements relating to currency exchange and financial risk management tools including recommendation of forward currency contracts and hedges.
Cash flow and debt forecasting by currency. Devising global guidelines for all aspects of treasury operations and strategy.
Preparation of Board level cash and other risk management reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures. Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.

Role and responsibilities
As Senior Director, Head of Treasury you will oversee all activities related to Treasury. You will be responsible for continuously developing and professionalizing the treasury function, and partner with various business teams to optimize working capital on group level as well as improving decision-making, and ultimately driving transparency across the businesses.
You will have leadership role leading the Treasury department, overseeing all activities and ensuring proper execution of the function, and being accountable for the following areas:
- Financing
- Capital structure
- Liquidity Management
- Cash Management
- Foreign exchange risk management
- Interest risk management
- Corporate bank relations
- Portfolio management
- Cash forecasting
- Cash collections and overdue management
- Insurance program and pensions
- Projects
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate liquidity for working capital needs and invest short term excess cash. Manage inter-company cash, including inter-company lending, dividends, and capital injections.

Your qualifications
- You have a Master within Finance, solid business insights within the pharmaceutical industry
- A minimum of 7 years of experience leading high performance teams, and with a strong track record of developing talents
- You are an experienced user of Excel and SAP
- Able to identify, prioritize and focus on key challenges and drive for results
- In combination with your strategic and business understanding, and conceptual skills, you can turn complicated challenges into smart and practical outcomes and translate the big picture into operational practical action plans
- You have the courage to address difficult issues and stand your ground on the right advisory, but also to stand and support the implementation of a decision when it is made
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Experience and a successful track record in building new capabilities in an organisation, as well as supporting organisational transformations through effective change management activities
- Able to condense and simplify complex topics and communicate effectively
- You speak and write English fluently and you build with ease trustful relations across cultural, professional and geographical distances
