Lead an organization of highly skilled IT professionals through times of transformation
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. As a part of this journey, LEO Pharma's Global IT organization has embarked on their own transformation journey, and we are looking for a strong leader to help elevate the Digital Product & Service Delivery organization. In Global IT you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
You will join as Senior Director, Digital Product & Service Delivery, leading a team of 5 dedicated IT Senior Managers and their teams of experienced IT professionals (around 100 internals and +500 externals around the globe). You will report directly to the CIO, Head of Global IT, and be part of the Global IT Leadership Team.
You will play a pivotal role in:
- Driving the execution and delivery of transparent, measurable, and tangible business value/outcome from Global IT to LEO Pharma.
- Driving the Global IT digital strategy execution and provide strategic input to the continuous development of overall Global IT strategy, IT functions and IT capabilities.
- Drive the implementation of Global IT transformation and strategic initiatives through the Digital Product & Service Delivery organization
- Drive the alignment with and engagement of stakeholders and their delegates into the ARTs and agile teams.
As part of the Global IT Leadership Team, you will act as a role model in building our capabilities even further, while at the same time ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the activities related to the IT operating model – and challenging the status quo.
Following the new ownership of LEO Pharma, Global IT has embarked on an exciting transformation journey to establish the basis for a new global IT organization and you will become a key part of this. This includes taking a new view on the whole organization meaning that you will also get a unique chance to influence our operating model and the content of your role.
You will be successful in the role if you:
- Have extensive leadership experience and experience in leading leaders
- Have experience and a successful track record in building new capabilities in an organisation, as well as supporting organizational transformations through effective change management activities
- Have strong stakeholder management- and interpersonal skills
- Are able to condense and simplify complex topics and communicates effectively
- Speak and write English fluently and you build with ease trustful relations across cultural, organizational, professional and geographical distances
- Have a master degree within business, IT or similar
- It will be an advantage if you have experience within management consulting (e.g. as an internal consultant or from one of the big consulting firms)
