If so, you may be our new Senior Director Commercial Finance & Business Analytics.

Your primary purpose is to identify opportunities to improve overall financial performance and ensure strategic objectives are being met. You and your team will partner with the business to provide insights and support decision making to drive business performance. You will lead a team of 13 talents including commercial finance analysts and business analytics experts. You work closely with our executive management teams and key global stakeholders. You will be based at our headquarters in Ballerup and report directly to Executive Vice President, CFO.
Your Responsibilities:
1) Financial Planning and forecasting
• Leading a team responsible for the planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring risks and opportunities are highlighted, addressed and actions clearly defined• Drive and consistently improve forecasting process, including dialogue and course-correction needed
• Lead and drive the annual budget process, including Budget Review meetings
• Collaboration with and support to Strategic Finance with the strategic and long-term financial planning process
2) Business Reviews/Business updates
• Prepare, structure and manage monthly business reviews/updates with our commercial organisations
• Close collaboration and support of regional and local commercial finance to drive business
• Regular business outlook, with focus on risk and opportunities
3)Finance Business Partnering
• Drive Finance Business Partner role by working closely with business partners
• Build and develop capabilities needed
• Lead and develop high quality ad-hoc and monthly reporting, providing forward-looking and actionable recommendations and decision-making support
4)Analytic Support
• Leading a team responsible for Business analysis of Sales regions and Corporate marketing activities
• Ensuring that the team are supporting the Commercial organization appropriately to inform and support effective decision making
Key competences
You will previously have led commercial finance teams and have a proven track record. You are a contemporary leader with an ability to execute and influence all levels of an organization, from senior leaders to specialists across functional areas. You guide your team to becoming proactive business partners and help develop their careers within Ambu.
You are proficient in the role of business finance partner, creating a balance between business insights and maintaining a financial focus. You possess sharp analytical skills, with a perceptive commercial & business understanding.
You hold a master’s degree in Finance or similar and you possess sharp analytical skills, with a strategic commercial & business understanding.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you collaborate with your colleagues and build a good and trusted relationship with your stakeholders globally. You bring best practice and are able to adapt ways of working, as we continuously mature our finance processes. This means that you should be curious, ask questions and suggest solutions, all with the aim to advance our business.
As Ambu is a global company it is essential that you have excellent English skills and that you have a global mindset in relation to both co-workers and business opportunities.
