You will be working at our Corporate HQ in Hedehusene, just west of Copenhagen, leading a global distributed organisation with main teams located in Denmark and Poland. Our division is accountable for the entire stack of IT services connected to DSV Road, covering new developments, change, support and operation.
The IT organisation has more than 2000 colleagues, of which 300 is located at the Corporate Campus in Hedehusene. We drive IT and digitalisation with a mix of modern technologies in a truly fast-paced environment. IT and digitalisation is a key element of our growth strategy, and as you join us, you will soon feel that the area is highly prioritised.

Step into a CIO-like position and take the lead
You will take on a very significant operational and strategic responsibility as you lead Road IT and make sure that the strategy is executed. A part of this is carrying out the “Road Way Forward” initiative, implementing a new transport management system that will become the new standard for our current business.
Apart from the staff in your own division, you will also manage external partners and consultants as well as matrixed delivery from colleagues in other parts of IT that delivers services to the Road division.
Moreover, you will:
You can expect to travel at least 25 days a year, mainly to Poland, Germany, South Africa and North America to meet up with the directors and senior managers under your management. The number of travel days will be higher when we integrate new acquisitions into the DSV eco system.

- Contribute with your leadership and insights as a part of the extended management of both the board of DSV Road and DSV IT
- Ensure the operational stability and evolution of our existing applications – making it possible for our 15,000 users to deliver 100,000 road shipments every day!
- Take development and application/product ownership on existing and new products and applications in the Road IT portfolio

- Are a confident and strong leader
- Could currently be working as a CIO or be ready to take on a similar role as the next step in your career
- Have some knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, perhaps in an industrial setting
