You will be working at our Corporate HQ in Hedehusene, just west of Copenhagen, leading a global distributed organisation with main teams located in Denmark and Europe. Our division is accountable for the entire stack of IT services connected to DSV Air & Sea, covering new developments, change, support, scalability and operation.
The IT organisation has more than 2,000 colleagues, of which 300 is located at the Corporate Campus in Hedehusene. We drive IT and digitalisation with a mix of modern technologies in a truly fast-paced environment. IT and digitalisation are key elements of our growth strategy, and as you join us, you will soon feel that the area is highly prioritised.

Step into a CIO-like position and take the lead
You will take on a very significant operational and strategic responsibility as you lead Air & Sea IT and make sure that the strategy is executed. A part of this is to prepare and secure that we can follow the corporate growth strategy, enable the standardisation of the global processes across both business and customer journeys, as well as supporting the future digitalisation strategy
Apart from the staff in your own division, you will also manage external partners and consultants as well as matrixed delivery from colleagues in other parts of IT that delivers services to the Air & Sea division.
Moreover, you will:
You can expect to travel at least 25 days a year, mainly to European time zones to meet up with the directors and senior managers under your management as well as vendors.

- Contribute with your leadership and insights as a part of the extended management of DSV Global IT
- Ensure the operational stability and evolution of our existing applications – making it possible for our 20,000 users to deliver more than 40,000 shipments every day!
- Take on product ownership on existing and new products and applications in the Air & Sea IT portfolio

- Have some knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, perhaps in an industrial setting
