Welcome to dsv Digital Core
Based at our corporate HQ in Hedehusene, just west of Copenhagen, you will be building and leading a brand new, international Digital Core team. Working at different geographical locations, your team of specialists will include SW engineers, automation engineers, ML engineers, technical product owners, release engineers, data engineers as well as solution and data architects. Over time, we expect the team size to increase to 50, and perhaps more – all with the aim of creating our new digital core and the associated technical platforms and channels.
Your division will become part of dsv’s IT organisation with more than 2000 colleagues, of which 300 is located at the corporate campus in Hedehusene. We drive IT and digitalisation with a mix of modern technologies in a truly fast-paced environment. IT and digitalisation are key elements of our growth strategy, and as you join us, you will soon feel that the area, and especially the new platform, is strongly prioritised by top management.

Spearhead the creation of our digital platform
As our new senior director for Digital Core, you will be responsible for building an inherent, multi-tenant digital platform where eventually hundreds of teams – in multiple release trains and product platforms – can independently release full-stack products. To do so, you will be shaping a team of leaders, managers and experts, and you will gain a wide network of internal as well as external stakeholders.
Furthermore, you will:
You can expect to travel at least 50 days a year to visit division teams as well as external partners located across the globe. However, during working days in Hedehusene, you will find that you will be able to close the computer at 5 o´clock to ensure a well-functioning family life as well. Furthermore, our office is not far from international schools, both German, French and English, and for the right candidate, we are eager to assist in any practical issues related to moving to Copenhagen, if you currently live elsewhere.
You can lead leaders and know the details for building a successful digital platform
With your strong motivation for having a high-attention role with immense responsibility, combined with an entrepreneurial approach, you dive headfirst into new territories. You further have great people and communication skills and understand how to lead leaders.
As you have an analytical mindset and holistic commercial insight, you understand how to combine your strong technical profile with top management business goals. And if you have a good amount of curiosity in your personality as well and enjoy learning new things, this is a major plus.

- Build and operate the digital platform, including enterprise data domains, data and engagement services, channels and platforms as well as enablers and shared foundational services
- Ensure proper stakeholder management in the large enterprise organisation with both business managers and managers within Global IT
- Ensure stable and continuous operations with a quality and secure-by-design mindset
- Ensure organisational development and optimisation of the Divisional IT team, including talent pipeline and succession
- Lead directors and senior managers
- Manage large 3rd party vendor relationships

- Extensive progressive leadership experience within tech, IT or digitalisation, which has made you familiar with leading leaders
- Solid and successful experience building and operating a multi-tenant digital platform
- Experience with SW, digital and data technology strategies, security, delivery, and operations
- A proven track record within complex transformative IT program delivery
- Solid experience from an international business environment and a track record in collaboration across geographies
- If you have some knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry, this is a plus, but not a requirement.
