About the department
In the Packaging department we are responsible for the packaging processes for Flexpen, FlexTouch and Ozempic®3.0 ml. The department is organised in seven strong teams, who are all dedicated to deliver our products to our patients – in the right quality, at the right cost and at the right time. We ensure production, release, deviation handling and optimisation of our processes.
We are located in Hillerød, where over 137 dedicated colleagues are looking forward to welcome you.
Along with your Team Leader colleagues and local management, you will be part of a leadership network across Diabetes Finished Products, Hillerød that deals with implementation of strategic decisions by using value stream mapping and Hoshin Kanri, and more operational decisions locally in the Packaging production.

The position
You will play a key role in the department as the leader for our Back Office Support team that consist of 15 highly engaged Process- and GMP supporters together with Area Specialists and GMP coordinator. The team is responsible for driving the validated state for all the production lines and ensure timely closure of “Licence To Operate” activities including inspection readiness. Furthermore the team is responsible for both large and small process optimisation projects, handle new compliance requirements and ensure our New Product Entry portfolio. You will be referring to local Pack Management and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk A/S, and different suppliers.
As Team Leader, you will work closely with your employees to ensure a high level of process knowledge and engagement to drive performance. You will create a culture ready to challenge systems, processes and ensure ongoing optimisation. All of this by being a highly visible manager, who provides prioritization, sparring and coaching to your employees on daily basis.
You are curious about the processes, approachable and always looking for ways to optimize and simplify processes.
Working in close collaboration with your direct manager and your team leader colleagues, you will help maintain and develop the unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals.

Qualifications
You are likely having an educational background as an Engineer, Pharmacist, Chemist and/or having years of experience from a GMP production site.
However, the most important thing is to have leadership capabilities and a visible passion for taking up the challenges a leader will meet.
Communicating clearly, respectfully and setting direction for your team is key to succeed in the role as manager in our area. You are aware of the importance of listening to the expertise and issues that are raised in your team and it is natural for you to analyse problems and base your decision making on data. You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with ambitious targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
