About the department

The job is located in Hillerød in Novo Nordisk, Diabetes Finished Products (DFP). You will be part of our Project Management Office, where we are responsible for Project Portfolio Management, Project Governance and Project Execution for the whole site.

Our challenge is to execute an increasing portfolio of diverse projects implementing the solutions with minimum impact on the ongoing production. Furthermore it is our responsibility to ensure a strong Project Portfolio Management setup within DFP Hillerød, making sure projects are prioritised and run in a standardised and hence effective way.

You will join a dynamic and ambitious department of Project Managers and Project area specialists with various backgrounds all striving for excellence.

The Job

We are looking for an Associate Manager to head up the Project Execution team consisting of 8-12 highly qualified project managers, portfolio managers and area specialists.

As our new Associate manager for one of our Project Execution teams you will be overall responsible for our project portfolio for specific areas of the site and together with your team, you will drive and execute projects across our site and the portfolio.

You will proactively support your stakeholders and customers with portfolio overview and roadmaps and making sure a solid business case is ready for the prioritization in the early phases of the projects, thereby supporting Management in taking decisions and prioritizing the portfolio.

As part of the management team within Project Management Office you will be responsible for continuously development of our organisation, the Project Management processes and continuous improvements in general in order to mature and strengthen our ability to support the production by running projects efficient.

Furthermore you and your team will secure the deliverables to the budgets as well as align and improve the quality of presentations and other project related material.

As a natural part of the job you will be in close dialogue with line of business managers and management in general. In additional you will have a wide surface of contact and stakeholders both within DFP Hi but also across the DFP sites both in Denmark and globally.

Qualifications

You are most likely holding a MSc in Engineering, Business or similar supplemented with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with operating and executing projects in a GxP-regulated environment and/or experience with validation of production related equipment.

You have experience within management, either as manager or senior project manager. You possess a great business sense, have a strong drive, can set direction and you are able to motivate and develop your team through continuous feedback.

Your communication skills are strong, including the ability to target communication to extremely broad audience at all organisational levels in a clear and direct manner. You are service minded and bring a can-do attitude. Lastly, you must be fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
