About the department

In Diabetes Finished Production (DFP) at site Hillerød we are responsible for final assembly of Flexpen® and Flextouch® prefilled devices. Our production site supplies most of Novo Nordisk’s approved products within diabetes and obesity, is approved for all markets, and has responsibilities with New Product Entry, which requires a large degree of collaboration and flexibility.

We are located in Hillerød where around 140 dedicated colleagues, working on or supporting our four Mikron final assembly lines, are looking forward to welcome you in the department.

At DFP Hillerød we are a fully automated production site, and in the coming years we are driving a number of initiatives to further leverage new technology within predictive maintenance, business intelligence and automation of physical and electronic processes etc.

The position as manager
You will take on a key role in the department as the leader for a team of approximately ten highly engaged employees with technical and academic backgrounds. The team’s responsibilities include continuous optimisation of the uptime of our production lines, optimisations to improve compliance and planning and improving planned maintenance.

As Team Leader you will work closely with your team to keep a high level of professional passion. You drive performance through your coaching abilities and by maintaining the team spirit.

You will create a culture of ongoing optimisations by being a highly visible manager who provides daily sparring and coaching to your employees on the shop floor.
You will ensure transparency, follow up on performance and set direction for your team. You will do this by being analytically strong and communicating clearly and effectively.
Working in close collaboration with your peers in the management team you will help maintain unity in the department and contribute to reaching long term strategic goals balancing both product quality and equipment uptime.

Qualifications and candidate profile
You can be an Engineer, Marine engineer, Pharmacist, or something completely different, but you bring a solid technical ballast with you.

You can demonstrate a leadership track record from line management or project management, where you have delivered on both performance and have enabled your people to grow and develop.

You have experience with lean management and –manufacturing, and have experience as coach within systematic problem solving or improvement KATA.

You are trustworthy and make sure that you and your team always delivers on time.

You know how to listen, show respect and analyse problems in a concrete manner that creates solutions.

You show engagement and authenticity while working in a production atmosphere with ambitious targets, a high work pace and many daily decisions.
