Senior Manager, Master Planner

As Senior Manager, Master Planner at Orphazyme you will have the opportunity to combine your analytical skills within complex data with your skills within Master Planning and Business Optimization. You will support the Planning Excellence journey in a growing biopharmaceutical company and contribute to Orphazyme’s mission of bringing innovative therapies to patients with rare, serious diseases.
You will report directly to the Global Head of Technical Operations and will be responsible for developing and maintaining the global forecasting and master data planning processes. You will work closely with colleagues across the global organization as well as with CMOs to ensure that decisions regarding sales, supply chain, production, inventory etc. is made on quantitative data and analysis.
Your main tasks are:
You have solid experience within supply chain planning, inventory management and S&OP. You have at least 5 years of experience and have properly worked in the pharmaceutical industry were you have been a part of building and developing processes and contributed to well driven forecasting processes.
Your theoretical background comes from a Bachelor’s Degree within marketing, supply chain, business administration or the equivalent. Through your education and your work experience you have gained a solid understanding of statistics and forecasting methods and you know what impact this has on the operation.
You are a person with a highly analytical mindset who is comfortable with numbers and thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. You have excellent people and communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions, including with commercial leadership to present analysis, challenge thinking, and influence outcome.

Travelling: 20 – 30 days per year.

- Develop, monitor and manage a robust forecasting process which includes a monthly consensus demand.
- Participate in building appropriate planning systems and processes.
- Preparation and conduction of the S&OP process including moderating its meetings.
- Developing demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning function.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports and presentations pertaining to demand planning process.
