OEM Director Can you see yourself as the main driver for the global OEM market within the specialized Construction/Robotics industry? If you have already proven significant results within international OEM sales and leadership, and see this as your next great career step, then it might just be you we are looking for… As OEM Director for Leica Geosystems you will report directly to the President of the Machine Control Division and you will have the global responsibility for the OEM Market.
The OEM organization has the outbound strategic and operational contact with the OEM segment, and provide technical support to our global OEM customers, and participate in cross functional project teams to develop new, and maintain existing products. You will be responsible for product lines for the OEM segment in close cooperation with customers and development.
We need you to be the person who bridges our solutions with our customer’s demands in the fast growing world of robotics and automation.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS We expect you to have:
EDUCATION You are expected to have a relevant university degree or equivalent with a major in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a combination of studies and relevant commercial experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent English is a requirement (both verbal and in writing). It will be viewed as favorable if you master other languages.
TRAVEL You must expect approximately 40-50% travel in connection with this role.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES As OEM Director you are expected to:
- Create, implement and follow up on OEM sales strategy in close cooperation with the OEM Key Account managers and GSR’s
- Coordinate all OEM activities, in close cooperation with the GSR
- Establish and monitor OEM pricing strategies
- Where OEM product development projects are established, work closely with R&D and Product Management to ensure delivery of projects live up to the highest standard, within quality expectations, and within agreed milestones, and delivery and stakeholder expectations
- Develop and maintain key internal and external partner relationships critical to the business strategy and success for area of responsibility
- Implements plans to achieve defined strategic and operational business goals in conjunction with other internal stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts with OEM stakeholders on a global basis, adhering to authorization policies
- Identify, foster and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry contacts, supporting the attainment of the goals of the business
- Represent Leica/Hexagon in industry events, associations and tradeshows, where appropriate to advance the interests of the Machine Control Construction & Agriculture Businesses, and collaborate with the Product Management and GSR’s to prepare for such events
- Be an active member of the Machine Control Management Team
- Appoint, coach, supervise and monitor the performance of direct reports, including the provision of leadership and direction
- Take on additional duties from time to time
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS We expect you to have:
- A minimum of 7–10 years of sales experience, preferably in the OEM Heavy Equipment Industry
- Prior experience in a management position with sales responsibility in excess of EUR 10m
- In-depth knowledge and experience in managing and implementing business development practices and the product management lifecycle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic thinking and marketing skills
- Experience in preparing proposals and conducting formal presentations
- Strong organizational skills, entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethics
- Ability to form strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company professionally
- Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
- An understanding for and adhere to Leica/Hexagon values
