In this newly established role as Vice President, Supply Chain Operations, you will play an important role in shaping the strategic direction of Kamstrup’s Supply Chain. Hence, your leadership will be crucial in driving strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to our Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, you will be accountable for Kamstrup’s manufacturing, operational quality, and productivity, which makes you a key member of the Supply Chain Management team, contributing to the overall strategic vision of the organization.
A pivotal role focused on strategic thinking and ensuring operational excellence
You will serve as the cornerstone in shaping the strategic direction of our intelligent meter manufacturing in Denmark and the US. Your role will be crucial for driving the long-term vision and strategy, ensuring alignment of our operations to meet the organizational targets.
You will have the following main responsibilities:

We are looking for a Vice President of Supply Chain Operations who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with a structured mindset focused on delivering results of high quality together with your team.
You have an academic background, preferably a master’s degree, focused on Operations with Safety, Quality, and LEAN building blocks as key drivers. You bring more than 5 years of leadership experience, in which you have proven a minimum of 5 years’ expertise within a larger operation in a similar industry. You have experience from an international setting and strong knowledge of operations management systems, quality assurance in production, and continuous improvement tools.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.

You will serve as the cornerstone in shaping the strategic direction of our intelligent meter manufacturing in Denmark and the US. Your role will be crucial for driving the long-term vision and strategy, ensuring alignment of our operations to meet the organizational targets.
You will have the following main responsibilities:
- Strategic mindset: You are an inspirational collaborator in the evolution of our Supply Chain strategy, embracing new technologies, such as AI, and supporting the digital transformation of all processes
- Operational Excellence: Directly accountable for daily production output, product quality and delivery service to our customers. Ensuring the integration of visual management tools across all factories in alignment with our strategic objectives
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 300-400 Supply Chain colleagues, including 300 operators, 70 engineers / technicians, and 7 direct reports
- Technical resources: Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Operational Quality Engineers in each factory, with direct reporting to each Factory Manager
- Global Factory Management: Oversee global operations across 5 factories – 4 in Stilling Denmark and 1 in Atlanta, USA
- ESG: Support Kamstrup’s ESG strategy by integrating sustainable practices and aligning operational processes with ESG objectives
- Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage the LEAN department, and the Operational Quality departmen encompassing measurement rooms, tool calibration, and comprehensive incoming and outgoing inspection processes
- Global Expansion: Contribute to the strategic expansion plans to the APAC-region, anticipated a production footprint within 2024-2025
