Country Finance Director to Visma Group Denmark – Copenhagen


Career role for an experienced Auditor or Finance Manager with an auditing background, where you will be Visma Group’s Finance representative in Denmark. The role serves as a great entry into people management and financial leadership in one of the fastest growing software technology companies. Heading country reporting, due diligence and onboarding of new companies

In a newly established role as Country Finance Director, you will report to the Group CFO in Norway and will be the Group’s financial liaison in Denmark overseeing various key areas to support the Group’s overview of their companies in Denmark. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Financial due diligence and onboarding of new companies into Visma Group.
  • Oversee accuracy and quality in local company reporting and organise and head monthly finance reviews with the companies.
  • Establish processes for creating efficient ways of analysing cross-company financial data.
  • Advise and support local companies about Group compliance, joint taxation, and other finance related topics.
  • Ensure compliance within areas such as tax and transfer pricing, statutory reporting and country audits.

Many of the recurring accounting and reporting tasks are managed by a Country Controller that will report to you. Furthermore, you will work closely with the finance teams in Visma’s companies as well as the Finance Directors in Visma’s 4 business segments: Ecosystem, Small Businesses, Public, and Medium & Large Enterprises. These business segments manages in total 25 companies and 1.300 engaged colleagues. Finally, you will also become part of Visma Group’s internal network of Country Finance Directors and report to Group Finance that has practice experts in Tax, Accounting, and more.

Auditor or Finance Manager with ambitions to develop in people management

We expect you to be skilled in communicating the story behind numbers and explaining financial matters to non-technical people. You balance a distinct analytical mindset with being able to move to a larger perspective / holistic approach. Because you operate as the Group’s representative in Denmark, you are self-motivating and can find independent pragmatic solutions that create efficiencies and secure quality in the reporting. In your interaction with others, you involve, engage and drive stakeholder management, ensuring that you are all focused on the same objectives.

Professionally, you combine an interest in software and technology with following experience:

  • Bachelor’s (HD) or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Senior Controller or Finance Manager or as Auditor with experience from working with medium to large enterprises.
  • Broad knowledge of LCGAAP and understanding of IFRS.
  • General knowledge of tax and statutory processes.
  • Advanced Excel / Google sheets skills.
  • Full proficiency in Danish and English.
