This is a unique opportunity for a Danish speaking candidate with a strong commercial mindset, who wants to be part of an organisation that is ambitious about creating a strong hold within Environmental solutions. We are looking for a Managing Director who can lead and develop the company and redeem the high ambition to be a front runner of environmental circularity. The new Managing Director will develop the business by ensuring operational excellence and business growth.
Operational Excellence & business growth
As Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the Company’s leadership team, set the direction for developing the business to drive growth and oversee all aspects of the daily operations. You will report to the Group CEO and be a member of the Danish leadership team and work closely together with the Top Management Team from the Group for strategic alliances and business development purposes. Also, you will work closely together with the support functions finance, IT, ESG, Strategy & Transformation and HR.
Leadership
As Managing Director, you are visible and genuinely interested in leading and motivating others. You know how to build engagement and create a performance culture where results and operational excellence are key drivers for success. In your interaction with others, you are communicative and a convincing presenter.
Because of your experience and personality, it comes natural to you to establish structures and processes, and to create an environment, where people feel safe, trusted, and where they can focus on their deliveries. You can lead change, while not jeopardising what already works well.
Professionally, you present yourself as a proactive commercially oriented operations leader, with a modern mindset and with industrial experience and exposure to sustainability related topics

Managing Director responsibilities
- Provide leadership and successfully drive growth in the market
- Oversee day-to-day business operations making decisions that drive growth and success
- Build partnership with new and existing customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure continuity of internal operational processes in cooperation with internal key stakeholders (e.g., business planning, forecasting, operations, ESG, HR, finance)
- Providing ethical leadership and upholding integrity, ethics, and corporate social responsibility in alignment with the ESG strategy
- Support the ESG strategy implementation and ensure ESG initiatives are fully implemented, and targets are met in the business unit
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, engagement, performance, and operational excellence
Required experience
- People management and ssignificant successful sales management and business development experience, preferably from the service -, industrial – or building industry.
- Experience with building, managing and developing strong relationships with key customers, distributors and other relevant stakeholders. Including leading negotiations and developing growth plans to drive business growth.
- Solid understanding of financial dynamics in terms of pricing, contract management, ROI etc.
- Experience in developing and providing business forecasts & business reports
- An engineering background with technical knowledge
- Fluency in Danish and English
