Team manager with strong leadership skills is sought for installation department Denmark's only elevator production
Do you have background within electrical engineering, mechanics and steel as well as
management experience? Then come and become part of the team in Denmark's only elevator producing company.
HYDRO-CON is a small company with more than 30 years of experience in developing, producing and installing elevators and lifts. Our products are Danish designed, high quality, meet norms and standards, and guarantee a long life span and longevity.
The installation department includes 4-6 installation teams of 2 technicians in each. Installation work is all over Denmark and you will be responsible for managing these teams along with 2-3 external teams and 1-2 repair technicians. A lot of daily ressource planning and handling multiple cases and issues is required. You will also be responsible for the budget and economical aspects of the department.
We are looking for a foreman/teamleader with strong leadership skills, who will be responsible for the daily planning of the teams, as well as coordination with the rest of the organization.
Here are some of the tasks you will be responsible for:
● Responsible for good management of installations, i.a. in the form of planning meetings etc.
● Responsible for employee administration, hourly consumption and hourly registration.
● Responsible for AT (Work Inspection Authority) and safety at installation sites.
● Responsible for quality assurance for installations.
● Responsible for handling stock, purchasing tools, and managening the car fleet as well.
● Responsible for the overall departmental budget.
● In collaboration with the Project Manager, it is your responsibility to adhere all installations
schedules.
● Control the work processes, trimming and cleaning.
● Customer handover and inspections as well as faults and errors on units.
We think the following might suit you well:
● You have a technical background in machine or production/installation and between 5-10 years of management experience.
● You put a virtue in meeting strict deadlines.
● You are good at motivating your colleagues and dealing with stakeholders.
● You work in a structured and process-oriented way.
● You are not afraid of conflicts and dealing with problems.
● You are dutiful, can work independently, and are not afraid to take responsibility.
● Having a background in electrical engineering, mechanics and steel is an advantage but not a requirement.
