Your mission…

As Business Unit Manager you will contribute to the Active Cosmetics Division vision by sharing channel perspective, risks and opportunities. You will build the action plan to implement the Division’s commercial and brand strategy for our retailers in Denmark. Together with the team and with our Brand and Digital teams, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless online and off-line executions with our B&M clients. You are responsible for accurate forecasts and commercial allowance management for your accounts. The role reports to the Independent Retail Channel Commercial Director

You will...

  • Develop, monitor and manage a portfolio of clients, in accordance with the strategy of division and brands, in order to grow our business sustainably while creating strong client relationships.
  • Lead the yearly negotiations with the clients 360 (incl category & development actions, OCA, campaigns, assortment, key launches, space, location, stock, trade marketing, animation, merchandising, training)
  • Build and achieve the channel/group of accounts results: turnover, market share and commercial margin.
  • Monitor a retailer-centric account planning process to design a retailer specific business plan where our brands win market shares and brand exposure both in physical stores and online.
  • Identify new trends and opportunities for business growth and implement action plans.
  • Be the client’s preferred partner and develop and drive the simplified ways of working towards the clients
  • Be the go-to person and represent the client internally with different stakeholders
  • Manage administrative procedures related to the clients, as well as monitor contracts and financial aspects


You are...

  • You have 4-5 years’ experience from a similar role (Preferably from the FMCG industry) or documented brand or e-commerce/digital experience.
  • You have the ability to build connections and a network in a matrix organization in order to maximize resources for your clients and projects
  • You have a strategic vision – you have the courage to challenge status quo.
  • You are passionate about consumer insights and how to translate them into business opportunities and you are keen to test and learn online commercial executions of our brands.
  • You are a strong leader and communicator and you know how to make presentations that will involve and engage your audience.
  • You are a proven self-starter with an operative mind-set. You execute and deliver on your strategy and brand plans. You have a hands-on and pro-active approach and wants to drive results.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are a strong negotiator
  • You are fact based, analytical and have complex problem solving skills.
  • You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in Danish and English
