A job with focus on performance and output of the production – together with employee well-being and optimization of operations and cost. The job is located at our production facility in Assentoft close to Randers.
You will together with a Team Lead colleague be responsible for ensuring stable production through proper staffing during all shifts in combination of 24/5 or/and 24/7 production. It’s important you are an active part of the production (training will be provided) – across different shifts. Currently there are approximately 32 employees in the production mainly with background as Laboratory Technicians, Laboratory Students, Biologists etc. We expect to increase the number of employees during the coming years and future employees could also have other backgrounds for instance process operators, unskilled workers, or other backgrounds.

Your main tasks will be to:
- Meet the daily production goals, ensure compliance with quality standards, and maximize utilization of resources
- Contribute to ongoing maintenance and development of LEAN processes and standards
- Be a visible leader who ensures direction and a positive and safe working environment
- Hire and develop employees according to demands and budgets
- Secure that employees regularly receive the necessary training, supervision, and feedback
- Be a part of the production on regular basis to learn and fulfill operational processes/operate machines
- Continuously contribute with ideas and suggestions for improvements and optimizations
- Participate cross-organizationally in the development of overall processes, KPIs, optimization activities
Your qualifications are:
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- A strong sense of responsibility, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, extraordinary diligence, solution-oriented way of working
- A co-operative attitude and willingness to solve problems efficiently
- An ability to facilitate, maintain and manage good working relationships with the staff, internal stake holders and peers
- A good command of English language
- An ability to cope with difficult/urgent situations requiring immediate decisions
We expect you to have:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in leading production teams
- A demonstrated ability to work in an inter-cultural environment
- Leadership and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of optimization of a production unit
- A background in process industry, biotechnology, or similar experience with advanced technology.
