For Danfoss Climate Solutions we are looking for a Manufacturing Technology (MT) Manager for their production site in Nordborg, Denmark within the Refrigeration and Airconditioning (RAC) business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of manufacturing processes within the scope of production technology.
The Job
You will be leading a team of 12 MT engineers who are supporting daily operations, technology improvement projects and New Product Developments, as well as our supervisor for Maintenance (the maintenance team consist of 20 maintenance technicians). You will report directly to Head of Operations and be a member of the factory management team.
You will work closely with production, engineering and Danfoss Global Manufacturing team. By managing your MT Team, you will develop, motivate and improve employees’ performance through coaching, training and continuous improvement activities to assure operational excellence.

To be successful in this position, it is important that you have leadership experience as well as knowledge of Digitalization, Industry 4.0 on shopfloor, and/or automation for manufacturing processes. You probably have experience working with predictive and preventive maintenance, and you have an engineering background.

- Continuously driving IATF16949 (Quality Standard) improvements
- Driving digitalization, IoT and automation projects in your production facility
- Optimizing the production set-up
- Developing technologies and equipment
- Contributing to new product development projects
The ideal candidate
To be successful in this position, it is important that you have leadership experience as well as knowledge of Digitalization, Industry 4.0 on shopfloor, and/or automation for manufacturing processes. You probably have experience working with predictive and preventive maintenance, and you have an engineering background.
Other skill that the ideal candidate might have:
- Personal drive and a proactive mindset which allows you to stay ahead of the curve, yet you are pragmatic in acting and thinking
- Ability and desire to develop your team and drive for a high-performance culture
- Experience with developing, improving, and innovating production technology
- Good at managing complex CAPEX projects and meeting deadlines
- You probably have experience in working with quality standards
- Good communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English and Danish or German
