Your position

In your on-shore position as Senior Electrical Engineer – structural analysis in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure within oil & gas.

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up

You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer – structural analysis

your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

• Structural analysis, calculations and design reports of Mainsteel /outfitting structures.
• Checking of other engineers' analysis and calculation reports.
• Documentation of strength and design according to governing codes and specifications.
• Fatigue analysis and Hand calculations

The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs.

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer – structural analysis who have a systematic and a commercial mindset and is passionate about structural analysis and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have a proactive and organized approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant engineering.
• Structural analysis experience from the offshore top side projects.
• Experienced with modification work.
• Good knowledge of governing regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of STAAD PRO, Navis works and Mathcad.
• Experienced with hand calculations.
• Experienced with Fatigue Analysis.
• Experience with GENIE software.
• Experience in making fabrication/installation friendly solutions in modification project is very important.
• English communication skills both orally and in writing at a professional level.
